Har Ki Pauri is a scared Ghat on river Ganga in Haridwar. On this ghat, lots of people takes bath in river Ganga. This bathing ghat is also known as Brahmakund. Don't forget to attened Arti ceremony of river Ganga. During Arti ceremony, the reflections of golden hues of floral divas (small flames of lights) in the Ganga river is the most enchanting sight. The Ghat was constructed in the memory of Bhartri Hari, brother of King Vikramaditya. It is believed that Bhartri Hari eventually came to Haridwar to meditate by the banks of holy Ganga. But, when Bhartri Hari died, his brother Vikramadaitya has constructed this Ghat in his name, and later this ghat came to be known as Hari-Ki-Pari.
